Description

HMDrive enables to use AR glasses as a vehicle-driver interface through advanced patented positioning algorithms and a dedicated HW setup. This allows visual info to be displayed in the driver's field of view, reducing distraction, cognitive effort and enhancing the driving experience.

The HMDrive SW/HW system constitutes a visualization platform on which each car maker can design and develop a specific visual app: sports car OEMs to develop an AR visual coach for circuit-driving, while agricultural tractor OEMs to create multiple virtual see-through screens.

Our vision is to enable all AR glasses to be used on any type of vehicle for any specific need: safety, fun and comfort.

AR interface for professional vehicles

The HMDrive system can be used by agricultural tractor / logistic / transportation OEMs to create a multiple screens AR interface. It can be used to substitute all the physical monitors with just a pair AR glasses, reducing hardware and integration costs, and improving safety (less distraction). The glasses can show instructions over-imposed the vehicle's control panel and operational information projected onto the external environment.

AR Visual Coach for circuit-driving

The HMDrive system can be used by sports car OEMs to develop an AR visual coaching tool that can display visual information ( trajectories, braking points, signs,...) as "fixed and positioned on the circuit." This allows drivers to gather information regarding the vehicle, circuit, and driving style while always keeping their eyes on the road and improving performance and enjoyment of circuit driving.
