OEE is the basis for any data acquisition process, the first step for a data driven approach of the company. OEE is a well-known tool: the goal is to find out where waste is hiding, giving evidence of the 3 KPIs: downtimes, scraps and performances. The advantages of the solution proposed by Next over other available choices on the market are many. Let's take a look at some of them: it is a completely web-based solution; the dashboards are customized in relation to different business roles; the solution is also available as an app for tablets and smartphones, allowing both viewing performance data wherever you are and direct data entry, just like a line touch screen. But the real innovation lies in the Worldwide OEE: a unique dashboard designed for large corporates, allowing managers to check out and compare OEE from different plants, with detailed information on the individual production line performance. The Machine Ledger 4.0 (ML 4.0)

The Machine Ledger is a WCM tool for managing the maintenance through a calendar in Excel in which the machine is broken down into individual components. Next's ML 4.0 has digitalized the WCM tool by making it web-based and turning it extremely useful for any company. The advantage of ML 4.0 lies in managing professional and autonomous maintenance work and sudden breakdowns (EWO modules) in a single environment. In addition, there are calendars for each maintainer and a list of assigned tasks. The goal is to get to zero on sudden failures by adopting different types of maintenance: - TBM: Time Based Management: this type of maintenance depends on the usage time of the component - HBM: Hit Based Management: the maintenance depends on the actual usage of the component - CBM: Conditional Based Management: the maintenance depends on variables, with the help of mathematical models and deep learning.
