Description

REIWA ENGINE is a System Integrator that projects, designs and realizes turnkey customized and versatile solutions in the field of robotics, artificial intelligence and industrial automation. For the Clean Tech sector it has designed an innovative solution, using artificial intelligence applications, capable of reducing costs and lowering environmental impact: SandStorm. It is a self-powered robot (patented) that cleans and diagnoses the photovoltaic panels on the ground in a dry and autonomous manner. The robot designed by REIWA ENGINE is able to overcome any difference in height between rows of panels caused by construction defects or installation requirements. This feature is not present in any of the technologies currently on the market. The segment that the company is targeting with its product is largely homogeneous and is part of the broader market of photovoltaic park cleaning for the energy efficiency recovery of solar panels. In particular the company enters the dry cleaning sector, without the use of water or fuels, proposing a product that is entirely self-powered and totally automated.

SandStorm, the robot that cleans and diagnoses solar panels. Without limits. Autonomously.

REIWA ENGINE has developed SandStorm, the robot for automated cleaning of large photovoltaic systems, an efficient product because it reduces environmental impact (dry cleaning, recyclable components, autonomous and fuel-free power supply), it favors economies of scale (easy assembly and transport), weighs just 45 kg (around 40% less than the alternatives on the market), can be moved using common handling rods and saves costs (no resources are used) and time (the average surface treated in one hour by the leading competitors' products is around 360 m2 /h, while SandStorm covers over 2616 m2 /h). All these features are not present at the same time in the products currently available on the market today. This is why SandStorm represents a novelty on the international scene. The innovative elements that characterize the SandStorm robot, and which are already protected by patent, mainly concern the handling device and the guiding elements.
