STE – Sanitizing Technologies and Equipments is an innovative start-up and a Univesity of Urbino spin-off, focused in research, development, design, production and sell of advanced air and surface sanitation devices for indoor environments, automotive, train, naval and airplane settings.



STE also supplies certification and testing for sanitation systems, through the development of new methods. It provides monitoring and check in working condition systems. Our products and services aim to the improvement of the quality of life and safety in indoor environments through an eco-friendly approach

CSA System: Innovative continuous sanitization air system

The Continous Sanitization Air (CSA) system is a patented device based on various technologies like UV-C LED, filtration and ionization that guarantees continuous air sanitation in a range of 600 -14000 m3/h airflow rates (stand-alone and industrial system, respectively). The dual air sanitation and purification function allows the inactivation of more than 99% of microorganisms, pathogenic or not, present in the air and guarantees the reduction of atmospheric pollutants as particulates, pollen and volatile gas (i.e.formaldehyde). Moreover, the CSA system is provided with a sensor platform and an artificial intelligence constantly analyzing air quality and regulating the power based on pollutants trend and people number, giving the users a real-time feedback.

From design to certification

STE – Sanitizing Technologies and Equipments supplies certification and testing for air and surface sanitation systems. STE develops new methods aimed to provide certification of new products, needed for their trade, and provides direct monitoring and check in working condition systems. Our laboratories, highly skilled personnel and the collaboration with the University of Urbino allow the customization of services based on client needs, existing standards and last inventions. All our services direct to obtain novel methods and products offering the possibility to drive clients towards the patented industrial protection of commissioned products.
