LiFi Geolocation - Making every lamp a source of information

LiFi G (Geolocation) is an indoor geolocation system, using light modulation to define the user position with extreme accuracy. The LiFi G solution consists of a unidirectional connection, where LED lamps transmit a binary code that, thanks to special Apps developed by To Be, are received by smartphone and tablet cameras to define the user position and enable services of indoor-navigation, content sharing, accessibility, proximity marketing, analytics and more. LiFi G applies to different environments such as museums, retail shops and hospitals. To Be is developing a specific App for each vertical, adapting services depending on its needs, thanks to the direct collaboration with key market players.

LiFi Streaming - Secure connection at the speed of light

LiFi S (Streaming) is a system enabling internet connection for 1 or more PCs, made of Li-Fi transceivers with infrared (invisible) LED light and USB dongles capable of receiving and transmitting the signal. LiFi S can be considered a 5G technology, offering fast, safe and elettrosmog-free connectivity. It offers a speed of 220 Mbps,with a spectrum 10’000 times wider than the radio spectrum dedicated to Wi-Fi, offering the required infrastructure for the development of IoT, Industry 4.0 and SmartCity industries, free from issues of band saturation and interference with other devices, which is a key aspect for places hostile to radio waves such as hospitals, airplanes and factories. Li-Fi also enhances cybersecurity, since light can be limited to a space, avoiding risks of external hackers. LiFi S is also the most sustainable technology for transmitting data, as it nullifies the risks related to radio waves and cuts down connectivity energy consumption.
