Viraschutz is an R&D centre with the aim of bringing innovation in human health by preventing microbial infections in an efficient and sustainable way. In close collaboration with other R&D centres and universities in Italy and Europe, we developed and patented an innovative solution for health prevention.



With a 99.99% antimicrobial residual efficacy 24/7 for 3 months, our solution is considered an effective risk management procedure in the healthcare sector with the purpose of reducing the impact of HAIs. Additionally, our solution is a valuable tool to pursue a high-safety environment in the food processing industry and to provide healthier environments in high foot-traffic public spaces, while slashing the use of chemicals and the cost for disinfection.

Electrostatically applied in indoor spaces, our 3 proprietary formulations molecularly interact with surfaces and generate an invisible antimicrobial coating, covalently bond to targeted areas, with a 99.99% antimicrobial efficacy 24/7 for 3 months. The coating attracts pathogens by electrostatic action and instantly kills them on contact. It physically punctures external cell’s membrane, inactivating pathogens with no poisoning. Thanks to this physical action, Viraschutz inhibits one of the most detrimental issue in our society: the development of bacteria resistance (AMR) to the coating over time. Thanks to its extremely high efficacy and extraordinary duration over time, our solution reduces the use of chemicals up to 98% compared to a daily conventional disinfection. Being non-leaching, the coating is completely safe for humans and the environment. Double patented, ISO certified, active against GN and GP bacteria.
