Description

IFAB is a foundation with over 30 private members (large, medium, and small companies as well as major trade associations).

Promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region, IFAB was established in Bologna at the end of 2019 in the heart of the Italian Data Valley, where one of the leading European “AI factories” is being created, based on HPC supercomputing infrastructures: the Big Data Technopole.

IFAB Foundation aims to be an independent and authoritative point of reference in the global scientific and cultural debate on human development, sustainability, and new science, participating in major national and international networks in the field of supercomputing and acting as a “bridge” between technology, research, and their practical applications in industrial and social contexts.

IFAB offers comprehensive support for the integration and development of AI-based solutions, with the goal of fostering digital transformation and improving business efficiency through: 1. AI assessment and strategy: mapping of business processes and development of an AI roadmap, defining priority projects and long-term goals. 2. AI solution development and implementation: redefining critical processes by implementing AI solutions and developing new AI-based business models and services to explore new market opportunities. 3. Identification of project resources: through IFAB's network, resources needed for project implementation are identified, with access to calls and funding, specialized expertise, and supercomputing resources 4. Change management: improving staff skills through training and role reorganization
