Poseidon is an innovative, green and sustainable way to store energy based on a patent pending design and a groundbreaking chemistry. Our battery belongs to the redox flow category, particular batteries that have the linkage between energy and power completely decoupled: this makes our product much more scalable compared to traditional batteries: just add more electrolyte in bigger tanks to increase the energy stored. Our chemistry is mainly based on hydrogen peroxide, which is created during the charging process starting from simple salted water. Combined with the zinc at the anode, this chemistry allows to have a battery with great electrochemical potential, but using only earth-abundant, easy-to-supply, safe and environmental-friendly materials. Its patent pending design drastically diminishes the ionic cross-over, allowing to transform the redox potential into power maintaining high efficiency together with a very long lifespan and a minimum loss during the life cycle.
