XRIT is an innovative start-up founded in 2019 and based in Sassari. The company develops hardware-software systems using extended reality technologies, iot and AI.  The company has the goal of developing an innovative system of Extended Reality XR responding to the unfulfilled needs of the engineering/shipbuilding sector. The aim of the project is to develop a new innovative working tool, such as a complete hardware and software system, that through its use in the field can meet two important purposes: designing with a high degree of precision, and monitoring the progress of the yards, even remotely, verifying the correct execution of the works. Within the engineering and construction market, both nationally and internationally, there are currently no products with the same characteristics and potential included in the system developed by XRIT. The willingness of the company is therefore linked to the development of systems and technologies that allow the users to enjoy an immersive experience in which virtual elements and real world can coexist, allowing to be repeated in any place, regardless of the presence of references on site, ensuring a centimetric accuracy of the localization of contents. Accuracy and precision therefore allow the use of the system in engineering and shipbuilding.

The target audience for the service offered is the engineering and construction sector.
