Develop-Players is an innovative startup and a spin-off of the University of Bologna that creates scientifically validated video games for the screening, diagnosis, and cognitive enhancement of children and adolescents with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and ADHD.

Our mission is to unlock the potential of every neurodiverse individual by providing reliable, engaging, and socially impactful tools.

Our services are aimed at clinicians (psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech therapists) and families with children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 with special educational needs, SLD, and ADHD, who are looking for fast, validated, and inclusive tools for cognitive assessment and enhancement.

Develop-Players is an innovative startup and spin-off of the University of Bologna that designs scientifically validated video games for cognitive screening, diagnosis, and training of children and adolescents with specific learning disorders (SLD) and ADHD. The innovation lies in combining scientific rigor with gamification: engaging digital tools that turn play into a means to assess cognitive functions (attention, memory, language, problem solving) and strengthen them in a targeted way. Compared to traditional tests, our technology reduces assessment time, increases patient compliance, and generates automatic reports useful for clinicians, families, and schools. With over 4,500 children already involved, our serious games set a new standard of accessibility, immediacy, and inclusion, making neuropsychological evaluation simpler, more reliable, and child-friendly.
