Trenitalia France is a subsidiary of the italian railway company Trenitalia, one of the leading railway operators in Europe. Since December 18 2021, Trenitalia France has launched the Frecciarossa high-speed rail offer with 2 round trips a day between Paris Gare de Lyon and Milano Centrale via Lyon Part-Dieu, Chambéry, Modane and Turin.
From spring 2022, Trenitalia is going to develop its offer between Paris and Lyon with 3 additional round trips which will operate between Paris Gare de Lyon and Lyon Perrache via Lyon Part-Dieu increasing its overall offer to 5 daily round trips between the two cities.
Previously, the company (with the branding Thello) dealt with an international offer of night trains between Paris and Venice and day trains between Milan and Marseille.
