Description

Bufaga is an innovative startup committed to solving the problem of air pollution. The startup has developed Hi-Bufaga, a smart device that can be installed on the roof of any means of transportation, capable of removing atmospheric pollutants from outdoor air simply by driving. Additionally, thanks to an integrated IoT sensor system, it can gather important data regarding pollution levels in our cities and monitor the amount of pollutants removed over time. Its motto is "removing pollution by driving vehicles".



Bufaga doesn't just offer a product, but a complete service for corporates and municipalities. In fact, its work involves providing the hardware for pollutants removal, the software for data visualization, and a reporting system for environmental impact assessment, aimed at enhancing sustainability reports and consequently improving companies' ESG ratings.

Hi-Bufaga is a device installable on the roof of transportation vehicles. This allows it to act on much larger areas compared to traditional fixed solutions, often solving the problem directly at its source. In fact, Hi-Bufaga is capable of offsetting up to 100% of the net emissions of vehicles while driving. Moreover, when mounted on electric vehicles, it results in a "net positive impact," meaning it can remove a greater amount of pollutants than those produced by the vehicle itself. Finally, one of its major strengths lies precisely in its ability to remove atmospheric pollution while simultaneously monitoring air quality levels. Our main competitors are those who offer solutions for either air quality removal or monitoring. Hi-Bufaga positions itself at the center of this issue, as it can remove pollution while simultaneously gathering from each device, thanks to its integrated IoT sensor system. All of this is made available on a dashboard provided to clients, allowing them to monitor the status of devices and impact KPIs in real time. At the same time, the collected data is aggregated and included in the sustainability reports of companies.
