Freeze-drying is an energy-intensive (hence expensive) process to dehydrate food and pharma products at sub-zero temperature while preserving the active substances at a molecular level. Once freeze-dried and packaged products can be stored for years at room temperature and rehydrated or consumed dry when needed.
Liocreo’s patented technology reduces freeze-drying energy consumption (hence costs) by 75%, enabling its application in industries where the process was deemed too costly. Our mission is find distributors for our line of products with the brand Opi Frutta and to build sustainable and cost-efficient freeze-drying plants with our technology for companies in the food, pharma and chemical industries, also by partnering with current freeze-drying players.
