Freeze-drying is an energy-intensive (hence expensive) process to dehydrate food and pharma products at sub-zero temperature while preserving the active substances at a molecular level. Once freeze-dried and packaged products can be stored for years at room temperature and rehydrated or consumed dry when needed.

Liocreo’s patented technology reduces freeze-drying energy consumption (hence costs) by 75%, enabling its application in industries where the process was deemed too costly. Our mission is find distributors for our line of products with the brand Opi Frutta and to build sustainable and cost-efficient freeze-drying plants with our technology for companies in the food, pharma and chemical industries, also by partnering with current freeze-drying players.

Liocreo produces freeze-dried fruit snacks with the brand Opi Frutta made from 100% fruit, which are healthier (retain up to 90% of vitamins of fresh fruit), crunchier and tastier than other dried fruit snacks and can be stored for years at room temperature once packaged. Opi Frutta is looking for partners/distributors in France and Europe for its line of snacks, from adult snacks to kids and instant smoothies.
