Mama Science designs, develops and produces products based on advanced biomimetic materials with innovative properties, obtained through processes that simulate natural ones.

Mama Science has developed various ranges of products made from raw materials with low environmental impact and without the use of solvents or reagents that are toxic to humans and the environment with a view to innovation and sustainability. They are unique and due to their characteristics, properties and functionality, easy to use in numerous sectors without the need to change production processes, replacing the traditional materials currently used by industry with products which, given their characteristics, can be used in contexts where classic products are prohibited for regulatory or technical reasons.

Mama Science has developed two types of additives capable of replacing classic chemicals by bringing new functions and application methods without changing production processes Healthy and safe surfaces: NACTIVE Range of additives based on a unique technology developed by Mama Science capable of eliminating microorganisms and odors without the use of biocides as they are composed of only elements normally contained in natural systems, with an active and long-lasting power. This characteristic allows their use in numerous sectors such as food, biomedical, cosmetics, coatings, construction and furniture. Water & air purification: MICROLIGHTIC The only technology that allows you to obtain high-efficiency, micrometric-sized photocatalytic materials. MICROLIGHTIC is specifically designed for applications such as surface treatments or in devices for the purification and decontamination of air and water in a clean and safe way without the use of chemical products and with great economic savings.

Sustainable and Smart Bio-based packaging solutions

Films, waterproof coatings for paper supports and coatings for sustainable and biodegradable fruit and vegetables, with the same characteristics as plastic. These are the three products created by Mama Science thanks to the development of an advanced bio-based material, BIO-HBD, created from bio-based raw materials. Natural materials which in themselves are soluble in water and would not be suitable for the packaging sector: they become so thanks to the unique technology developed by Mama Science, which allows them to be made very similar to plastic materials, starting from water resistance and, in addition, with a property that allows the shelf-life to be extended.
