Space 11 is an italian innovative startup based in Rome and incubated in the ESA Business Incubation Center. We are specialized in AI and IoT solutions based on aerospace engineering and robotics,  stands out on the market for our strong focus on deep-tech projects dedicated to the digital twin for industry and smart cities. Our goal is to enable industrial companies and smart cities to use the Digital Twin, in order to optimize costs, times and resources.

Space 11 - Digital Twin 3 Layer Edge Tech Monitoring System

Space 11 has developed a Digital Twin 3 Layer Edge Tech Monitoring System in order to monitor industrial plant, infrastructures and construction sites. Monitoring Layers: 1) Space: using satellites images from Copernicus and Galileo Constellations 2) Air: using drones with AI on board 3) Ground: using IoT devices and Rovers, with AI on board. The modular "Space 11 Heavy Duty" drone, equipped with on-board AI, represents a Swiss army knife of capability within the system. This drone boasts a modular design, allowing it to adapt perfectly to various missions, including: Firefighting: Equipped with specialized spherical extinguishing modules, this drone is a critical asset in firefighting. It autonomously heads to areas affected by the fire and releases extinguishing pellets Medical Kit Delivery: Thanks to the interchangeable load modules, the drone transforms into a fast-response medical kit delivery system. Search and rescue: The drone's adaptability extends to search and rescue missions, where it can be equipped with a thermal imaging camera module. This feature allows the drone to locate people in danger, even in harsh environments or in poor visibility conditions. Interchangeable modules: the strong point of this drone lies in its interchangeable modules. Whether responding to emergencies, fighting fires or providing medical support, the drone can adapt quickly by replacing its payload. Weighing less than 250 grams, the lightweight surveillance and monitoring drone "FoxTrot AI X1", equipped with on-board AI, is designed to provide continuous surveillance of roads, bridges, intelligent systems and technological infrastructures. Continuous monitoring of roads and infrastructure: This drone is designed to monitor roads, bridges and technological infrastructure 24 hours a day, with a recharge system with lasers beams. Flight from above without permission: With minimal weight and compliance with aviation regulations, this drone can fly over people without requiring special consent. High-Resolution Cameras: Equipped with high-resolution cameras, the drone does a great job of detecting anomalies and creating complex 3D maps. The rover is the versatile workhorse of the system, designed to be used as a base for drones and a multifunctional platform for operators. Delivery of emergency kit and tools: Thanks to its adaptable payload capabilities, the rover can deliver not only first aid kits for emergencies, but also a variety of tools needed for maintenance. Drone Support and Maintenance: The rover is equipped to autonomously recharge and maintain a light unmanned aerial vehicle for surveillance and monitoring. Adapts to operator tasks: The rover's adaptability extends to performing specific operator tasks. It is capable of transporting equipment, instruments or sensors as needed, offering a flexible and responsive approach to different operational needs. All data are analyzed by the AI Engine, developed by Space 11, and showed to the S11 Digital Twin Dashboard. The Dashboard can be used and analyzed with also VR/AR viewers.
