Biografia

Donato Donati is Business Development Manager of Marposs for the USA West Coast and Key Accounts Manager for the Silicon Valley. He matured extensive sales and marketing experience in Europe, Asia and NA markets with deep knowledge of Consumer Electronics Industries and wide relationships within EMS, ODM, OEM.
Born in Bologna, Donato Donati began his professional experience in 1979 in the commercial area of Marposs HQ in Italy. In 1986 he had his first expat experience in Tokyo Japan for coordinating sales programs and activities at Marposs KK. In 1987 he returned to Italy appointed Product Manager of a line of products for Marposs HQ.
In 1992 Donato moved again for 3 years to Tokyo Japan as Business Development Manager for Marposs KK. Later, from 1995, he was responsible of business development for the SEA markets for Marposs. In 1997 he was Product Line Sales Manager for Italy activities and in 2003 Division Sales and Marketing Manager at Marposs HQ Italy till 2012.
In 2013 a further expat experience at Marposs China, Nanjing, as Division Manager to create and develop a powerful Team initiating and consolidating the Group’s activities in Consumer Electronics manufacturing with the major phone brands. Since November 2017 Donato moved once more residence from China to the Silicon Valley in California covering his current position in Marposs, to develop and diversify Marposs Group business by targeting Consumer Electronics, Semiconductors and EV Sectors. Citizen of the Word, Donato loves traveling, rock music and meeting people.
