Today we have to face the challenge of satisfying the ever-growing global demand for capital and consumer goods, while ensuring a sustainable evolution of human existence in its social, environmental and economic dimensions. To meet this challenge, the creation of industrial value must be oriented towards sustainability. Today we are talking about development towards the fourth phase of industrialization, the so-called Industry 4.0. This development offers immense opportunities for the realization of sustainable production.
