Open Innovation: the Time is Now
Sommario workshop
How much are Italian companies open to innovation?
How do they compare with international innovation leaders?
Are they really startup friendly and going beyond the “innovation theatre”?
Which are the most adopted open innovation strategies in Italy?
What are the new emerging international trends in the open innovation arena?
The answer to these questions comes from the “Open Innovation Outlook: Italy 2021”, produced by Mind the Bridge with the support of SMAU. The analysis covers all areas related to Open Innovation adopting an holistic perspective and a comprehensive methodology that allows international benchmarking.
Italian companies were asked to describe which Open Innovation activities (such as scouting, trend spotting, acceleration, procurement, co-development, investments, acquisitions) they are currently running, the results they achieved and the main barriers to the innovation process.
A comparison with the results from last year analysis also allows to identify whether and how open innovation is getting increasingly adopted by Italian companies.
The key outcomes and insights from the Open Innovation Outlook 2021 by Mind the Bridge and Smau will be presented by Alberto Onetti at the opening of SMAU.
