Dieltech is a company specialized in design and optimization of fluid dynamic transducers.We develop devices for high pressures gas production,improved efficiency heat exchangers and systems for thermal&mechanical energy conversion.Thanks to the partnership with DIMES Eng.Dept.(University of Calabria),Dieltech srl is nowadays fully involved in development of high efficiency systems for energy storage.Our successfully developed micro-CAES system(SisTEA)is fully functional and able to store,time-indefinitely,7kWh of electrical power,with a total efficiency of 60%.We're currently looking for an international partner to further improve SisTEA efficiency,and to finally made it ready for market.

SisTEA by Dieltech srl is an innovative micro-CAES system for energy storage.The final target is the possibility to use energy as any other consumer goods, to store and use it as needed. The core system is made up by an innovative Al2O3 (Aluminium tri-oxide) ceramic pump, valveless and with variable displacement.To improve efficiency, 3 states of compression are working in line,with an inter-refrigeration system between them.The produced heat is captured by an array of pipe-in-pipe exchangers,and transfered in a special device made up by metallic structures of hydrides. Such kind of structures are able to capture and adsorb hydrogen atoms inside them, during the process of heat-storage.Reversibly, the compressed gas is expanded in a pneumatic turbine, while the heat recovered from the metallic hydrides is used to pre-heat the gas immediately before the expansion process. SisTEA has a measured total efficiency of 60%. PLease,come and visit us to discover more!
