Description

Red Lynx is an innovative start-up born as a spin-off of the Department of Engineering of the University of Perugia and founded by researchers with many years of experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

Thanks to the strong know-how developed during the years of academic research, Red Lynx aims to realize innovative solutions based on Artificial Intelligence technologies, in particular Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision, to support technological applications of all kinds.

Examples of our solutions include image and data analysis systems in the enterprise, industrial and agritech fields, such as: asset monitoring systems, predictive models, predictive maintenance solutions, as well as automation and robotics solutions.

We like to create close contact with customers and partners, precisely to be able to develop systems specifically designed according to their needs and problems. Just as if we were tailors who create custom-made AI for those who need it.

MaChAwAI - Material Characterization Augmented with Artificial Intelligence

MaChAwAI - Material Characterization Augmented with Artificial Intelligence

Material Testing is a particularly important procedure in additive manufacturing; this procedure involves testing the materials used to verify that their physical characteristics (stiffness, elasticity, maximum load, etc.) are suitable for their intended use. Normal Material Testing devices are complex, involve high costs and long testing times. Our Artificial Intelligence solution coupled with the MaCh3D device (conceived and developed by MaCh3D Srl) allows us to simplify this process and reduce costs, eliminating additional equipment or tools (such as spacers), but at the same time ensuring accurate results. The MaChAwAI project was developed within the Second KYKLOS 4.0 Open Call and has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement no 872570.
Street Vision - Computer Vision System for Road Infrastructure Monitoring

Street Vision - Computer Vision System for Road Infrastructure Monitoring

Solution based on Artificial Intelligence techniques that allows monitoring of road infrastructure by analyzing the video stream from cameras placed at the roadside. In particular, Street Vision allows automatic and real-time monitoring of the deteriorating condition of the road surface (cracks, potholes, etc...), road markings (fading, cracks, potholes, etc...) and vertical markings (illegibility, falling down, etc...), as well as distortions of the guard-rail. Street Vision offers two main advantages: on the one hand to increase the road safety of infrastructure users by going to provide guidance and suggestions to maintain maximum safety of drivers and passengers, and on the other hand as a decision support tool in order to optimize intervention and maintenance actions and the use of resources (labor and material) by the road operator.
