Kaan Eren

Kaan Eren is a Partner 500 Emerging Europe, leading the proactive deal sourcing, screening and due diligence efforts with a mandate of investing in early-stage teams across South and Eastern Europe and bridging them to the US. He now lives between San Francisco and Europe helping portfolio companies move into the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Kaan holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining 500 Emerging Europe, Kaan was an Investment Banking Vice President at Ünlü&Co, a leading Investment Bank in Turkey, where he played an instrumental role in advising landmark deals with total transaction value exceeding $2.5B, including the largest IPO and infrastructure deal of the last decade in Turkey. More recently, had been responsible for Ünlü&Co’s origination & execution efforts in the technology space advising local companies as well as multinational players. Kaan went to Liceo Italiano Statale a Istanbul, fostering close ties with Italy since his youth.
