Description

Beamide, spin-off from INFN, develops innovative solutions to study radiation effects and shielding optimazition. Its flagship project MRADSIM allows fast and precise simulations on electronic and electromechanical devices. Beamide also works on advanced radiation detectors and provides trusted irradiation (RHA) and TVAC testing services to international clients.

Our target is B2B, addressing companies, research institutes and universities in the space, nuclear, medical, microelectronics and IT sectors. We provide accurate radiation simulation tools and advanced testing services, supporting customers operating in extreme environments.

MRADSIM – Advanced software for radiation simulation

MRADSIM is a market-ready product with TRL 9, developed to provide advanced simulations of radiation effects. Already used by research institutes in the space sector, the software supports critical applications in high-radiation environments. The commercial versions MRADSIM-ConverterPro, MRADSIM-Space and MRADSIM-Dose, reduce testing time and costs while improving project reliability. The first licenses have already been adopted by companies in the nuclear, space and medical sectors, confirming MRADSIM as a reference tool for technology validation in extreme conditions.

RHA Services – Irradiation and testing for critical environments

BEAMIDE’s Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA) services qualify electronic components for space missions and high-radiation environments. Conducted in compliance with ESA standards, they include irradiation with low-to-medium energy electrons, protons, and high-flux beams up to 800 cm², as well as solar and UV radiation simulations. The offer is complemented by TVAC (Thermal Vacuum Chamber) tests to verify thermal resistance and performance in vacuum conditions. Already chosen by international companies and research institutes, BEAMIDE’s RHA services ensure maximum reliability and stand as a benchmark for technology validation in space, nuclear and medical sectors.
