NIXIE (Neural Innovation eXpertise & Intelligence Engine) is blendX's graph-native intelligence layer, dedicated to transforming fragmented ecosystem signals into structured, decision-ready information. The system operates as a true deep-tech infrastructure capable of managing innovation governance, scouting, and the discovery of hidden complementarities between actors who would otherwise remain disconnected. The Graph Infrastructure is designed to continuously acquire, normalize, and link data from companies, investors, research, and public procurement through a proprietary multi-engine OSINT orchestrator, producing a living and constantly updated European knowledge graph. The Specialized AI Pipelines are designed to automatically extract innovation needs from unstructured text and map corporate value propositions onto a proprietary ontology of 490,000 needs, performing large-scale semantic matching to discover non-obvious opportunities. The Advanced Algorithmic Layer is designed to surpass traditional static databases through dynamic learning, probabilistic entity resolution, and link prediction, guaranteeing up to an 85% reduction in technology scouting times within an already widely validated and operational environment. NIXIE acts as the AI engine within blendX, starting from business intelligence and strategy setting, to then launch concrete actions and initiatives through the platform's other modules. Idea, Challenge and PoC Management are blendX modules dedicated to the execution of innovation through the interaction of multiple users who are part of the innovation ecosystem. The modules are activated on the basis of the expressed innovation need and represent an entire innovation workflow: from ideation to experimentation. Idea Management is designed to involve employees, customers, suppliers in the collection and proposition of ideas according to the crowdsourcing model with evaluation steps to identify the ideas with the highest innovative potential. Challenge Management is designed to create and manage contests (call4ideas, call4startup, call4tech) looking for the entire flow from the collection of the application to its management through communication and tracking functions. PoC Management is designed to manage the entire process of experimentation and creation of a Proof of Concept through monitoring functions, KPI analysis, evaluation of the various evolutionary stages.
