Biography
Gianluca is an urban innovator, entrepreneur, and author. A former finance executive, he served as advisor to NYC Mayor on tech and foreign investments, and as Managing Director for Tech Partnerships at the NYC Housing Authority. He is Chair of I³/NYC, a nonprofit supporting Italian innovators, and CEO of DG Advisors, advising CEOs and governments—including the City of New York, EU Commission, World Bank, Amundi—on innovation-led growth, and PPPs. His book, "Viva New York”—praised by former Mayor de Blasio and legendary VC Alan Patricof—provides practical lessons on ecosystem building based on NYC’s success. He is also a startup mentor and angel investor.
