Jonathan Meléndez-Davidson

Biography
Jonathan Meléndez-Davidson is Director of Strategy at Newlab, where he leads a portfolio of industry and civic engagements focused on addressing critical challenges by structuring partnerships between corporations, governments, and best-in-class startups. He works across regions including North America, Latin America, EMEA, and Southeast Asia.
Previously, Jonathan led design and innovation projects at Johnson & Johnson, the world's largest health-care company, leading and contributing to global innovation initiatives across consumer health, pharmaceuticals, and public health.
In addition to his industry work, Jonathan has taught graduate-level courses at Pratt Institute, Rhode Island School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts. He holds a Master of Industrial Design from RISD and a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.
