Biography
Roberta Angelilli is Vice President of the Lazio Region, where she is responsible for economic development, industry, trade, tourism, and internationalization. She previously served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1994 to 2014 and was Vice-President of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014. During her time in the European institutions, she worked extensively on regional development, SME support, and international cooperation. She holds a degree in Economics and has long-standing experience in European affairs and public administration.
In her current role, she has focused on strengthening the regional economic system, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and attracting investments in the Region. She has promoted initiatives to foster innovation and internationalization, while contributing to the positioning of Lazio in global markets.
