Today, we face the challenge of meeting the growing global demand for capital and consumer goods, while at the same time ensuring the sustainable development of human existence insocial, environmental and economic terms.

To meet this challenge, industrial value creation must be oriented towards sustainability and process efficiency. Today, we speak of development towards the fourth phase of industrialisation, the so-called Industry 4.0. This development offers immense opportunities for the realisation of sustainable and increasingly smart production.

Protagonists, managers, entrepreneurs and enablerswill show how all this can be implemented and describe possible challenges and future scenarios.
