The Bridge Between the Italian and French Innovation Ecosystems
SMAU | Italy RestartsUp in Paris is the event dedicated to fostering innovation between the Italian and French ecosystems. Organized in collaboration with ICE – the Italian Trade Agency for the internationalization and promotion of Italian companies abroad, the event will take place on April 15th.
A curated selection of 40 Italian startups will showcase their products and services to corporates, investors, and innovation enablers. The program will also feature pitching sessions and panel discussions with representatives from both the Italian and Parisian innovation ecosystems, focusing on the following sectors: Food & Retail, Smart Manufacturing, Energy & Environment, Smart Mobility, and eHealth.
As stated by Pierantonio Macola, President of SMAU, the purpose of the event is:
“To introduce the innovative excellence of Made in Italy to Parisian entrepreneurs, investors, and managers attending the exhibition. Italy is globally recognized for its excellence in food, fashion, and design, and SMAU | Italy RestartsUp in Paris will be an opportunity to activate business relationships, partnerships, and investments among international ecosystem players visiting the event and the Italian companies participating in the initiative.”
Programme
Monday, April 14th from 06.30pm (by invitation only)
An opening networking cocktail event will take place at the Italian Embassy. The event is dedicated to investors, corporates and relevant players belonging to the Parisian and French startup ecosystems, interested in the delegation selected by SMAU.
Tuesday, April 15th from 09.00am to 08.00pm
At Station F startup companies will show their own products and services to corporates, investors, enablers and startups.
There will be numerous panels with representatives from the innovation ecosystem focused on: Food & Retail, Smart Manufacturing, Energy & Environment, Smart Mobility, eHealth.
The event will be organized into:

Wednesday, April 16th from 09.00am
Tour of some of the places where innovation happens, with visits to incubators and accelerators in the city in order to stimulate the creation of partnerships with representatives from the Italian ecosystem participating in the initiative.
