Biografia

Gregory TRAUMAT is a seasoned automotive industry engineer with over 25 years of experience, currently aged 51. Throughout a distinguished career, he has held various pivotal roles within PSA and then Stellantis, the resulting company from the merger between PSA Group and FCA.

Initially, he focused on engineering, specializing in powertrain design. This role allowed him to contribute to the development of innovative and efficient engine technologies. Transitioning from design to development, Gregory played a crucial part in the testing and validation phases as a calibration expert, ensuring that new engine models met stringent performance and regulation standards.

After a while, he took on the responsibility of leading the simulation department. This role was instrumental in leveraging advanced simulation tools to predict and optimize engine performance, thereby reducing the need for physical prototypes and accelerating the development cycle.

Recognizing the importance of innovation and external collaboration, Gregory shifted focus towards open innovation. He firstly assumed the role of Startup Hub Director, where he fostered partnerships and POCs with emerging tech companies and startups. Since recently, he now holds a dual role that combines the responsibilities of the Startup Hub with strategic partnership relations. This position allows him to bridge the gap between internal development and external innovation, facilitating a seamless flow of ideas and technologies.
