Carlotta Siniscalco

Lotti Siniscalco is a Partner at Emergence Capital, a B2B focused venture capital fund with over $2B in AUM. She joined the firm as a Senior Associate in 2018 and was rapidly promoted to lead investments in companies including Oyster, Federato, and Whistic, and other unannounced startups. At Emergence, Lotti focuses on investing in companies at the intersection of B2B SaaS and fintech, as well as future of work. Before joining Emergence Lotti was an associate at Advent International, the large global private equity fund, where she spent three years investing in financial services and technology companies, and was an observer on Transunion's board. She also worked in BizOps group at fintech startup Nerdwallet, and was an early stage investor at Ribbit Capital, a fintech-focused VC.

As a first-generation immigrant originally from Italy, she's passionate about helping others with similar experience and underrepresented founders build iconic tech companies. For years, she's been involved in Mentors4u, a nonprofit that helps young Italian professionals navigate their careers. She's also long been a fierce advocate for women in venture capital, hosting events and a regular dinner series to bring together early stage women investors to compare notes and support each other. 

Lotti began her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. She has her BS from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her MBA from Stanford Business School. On weekends, you can find her chasing after her kids through San Francisco's Presidio.
