In the context of regional objectives pursued under Action 1.3.2 – Internationalization of SMEs of the PR Calabria FESR FSE+ 2021-2027, with particular attention to supporting the internationalization processes of the Calabrian production systems, the participation of the Calabria Region in the SMAU 2024 edition is presented as an initiative to support innovative startups, spin-offs, and/or innovative SMEs from Calabria in strengthening their attractiveness and projecting towards extra-regional markets.
At the same time, within the framework of the Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (S3 Calabria), the Calabria Region's Department of Economic Development and Cultural Assets, through Fincalabra Spa, Special Projects Unit, supports the development of the innovation ecosystem in growth paths, promoting actions for business development.
Thus, an integrated system focused on innovation, internationalization, development, and the growth of the regional production network.
The participation in SMAU aims to develop international business relations, industrial and financial partnerships, open innovation projects, and co-innovation activities, while fostering cross-fertilization processes both interregionally and internationally.
