NOAH
Integrated Hubs for Energy, Mobility and Inclusive Tourism
Start-up of Regione Autonoma Valle D'Aosta
Start-up of Pépinières d'entreprises de la Vallée d'Aoste
Description
NOAH develops Kyklos, a replicable and scalable model designed to transform hospitality facilities and territories into integrated hubs for energy, mobility and inclusive tourism.
Kyklos combines three core pillars: energy transition, sustainable mobility and accessible tourism. The model enables the electrification of energy consumption through renewable systems and efficiency measures, the deployment of electric mobility infrastructures such as e-bikes and EV charging, and the creation of tourism experiences accessible to a wider audience, including people with reduced mobility.
NOAH acts as a system integrator, connecting technologies and services into a single operational framework supported by measurable performance indicators. The approach allows municipalities, hospitality operators and investors to reduce emissions, optimize energy costs and increase the attractiveness of destinations.
A first full-scale implementation has been developed in Valle d’Aosta (Italy), where NOAH supported the transformation of a winery and hospitality business into a sustainable and inclusive hub. The project includes full electrification, installation of a ~100 kWp photovoltaic system, electric mobility services and inclusive tourism experiences. The intervention achieved certified energy consumption reduction exceeding 10%.
Kyklos is designed to be replicable across alpine regions and low-density territories, supporting decarbonization while generating new tourism value.
