AI4IV is a European deep-tech company developing FlyEye™, a bio-inspired vision sensor that captures artifact-free images in a single shot, preserving reliable visual information from deep shadows to intense glare. By overcoming the limitations of conventional imaging, AI4IV enables AI systems to operate reliably in real-world lighting conditions.

AI4IV targets robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, smart infrastructure, drones, and next-gen mobility. It enables reliable machine perception in environments where conventional vision systems struggle with extreme contrast, reflections, and unpredictable lighting..

FlyEye™ Bio-Inspired Vision Sensor

FlyEye™ is AI4IV’s next-generation bio-inspired vision sensor designed for the era of Physical AI. Inspired by the adaptive mechanisms of biological vision, FlyEye captures artifact-free images in a single shot, preserving reliable visual information from deep shadows to intense glare. Unlike conventional CMOS sensors, which often fail in extreme lighting conditions, FlyEye automatically adapts at the sensor level, eliminating the need for multi-frame HDR processing and reducing motion artifacts, ghosting, and information loss. The technology enables reliable machine perception in dynamic real-world environments, including robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, smart infrastructure, inspection drones, and AR/VR. AI4IV is currently working with selected strategic partners through early evaluation and proof-of-concept programs to validate FlyEye™ in next-generation Physical AI applications.
