MISTER Smart Innovation is a laboratory and innovation center accredited within the High Technology Network of Emilia-Romagna and a virtuous example of a private research organization established as a Public-Private Partnership. It has core expertise in IoT sensing, automation, and data science across various advanced industrial sectors, as well as in artificial intelligence and new immersive digital technologies. MISTER is a member of four regional CLUST E-R clusters: Mech, Health, Innovate, and Create. Furthermore, it has been the managing entity of the Tecnopolo Bologna CNR, part of the Emilia-Romagna Technopoles Network, since 2017. Being part of these networks allows for enhanced and facilitated exchange of ideas, aiming to foster greater focus on regional S3 strategic priorities, promote more effective dialogue with businesses, and build stronger integration among laboratories, innovation centers, and the production system.
