ARIA: A new AI assistant for injection molding

Aria is an innovative AI-based system that integrates machine vision and process data to make injection molding smarter, more efficient, and sustainable. Aria analyzes images and videos of molded parts and automatically correlates detected visual features and defects with the machine’s process parameters. This integration identifies relationships between molding conditions and product quality, supporting defect root-cause identification and process optimization. Aria can also be used for in-line quality control, monitoring parts directly during production. Its data-driven approach improves process consistency, reduces scrap and response times, and supports the use of recycled materials, contributing to more efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
