Region Liguria strongly focuses on strengthening the research & innovation system as the driving factor for the regional development and the local competitiveness. The purpose is to add value to the enterprises and to the local specializations, on the basis of what is defined in the S3, the Smart Specialization Strategy of Liguria. The intervention lines will be: development and reinforcement of technology hubs and districts; acceleration of innovative enterprises’ incubators; support to the enterprises’ capability of research & innovation; support ro the realization of complex projects of research & technology innovation activities; support to the creation of spin-offs and to the technology transfer; support to innovative start-ups in the fields of local specializations. The actions will be focused on 3 primary macrosectors identified through the continuous analysis of the Ligurian socio-economic context: sea technologies, health and life sciences, life quality and territorial safety.
