Hypermeteo supports the energy and utility sector in the transition from the hourly market to the quarter-hourly market, offering high-resolution weather-climatic datasets with updates every 15 minutes. The data, available in historical, real-time, nowcasting, and forecast formats, optimize wind and solar production, improve demand forecasting, and enhance operational management of assets and grids, also through alert systems for critical events. The proprietary system HFSEnS (Hypermeteo Forecast System Ensemble) increases the accuracy and timeliness of forecasts, enabling a reduction of up to 35% in error compared to major benchmarks in Italy. The solutions integrate via APIs with SCADA, GIS, and asset management platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability across the entire energy value chain.

In a context of growing awareness about the impacts of climate change, Hypermeteo offers Climate Sentinel®, an advanced service for climate risk analysis, aligned with the EU Taxonomy. The service provides scenarios based on the RCP 4.5 and 8.5 projections required by regulations, developed from a multi-model ensemble of the EURO-CORDEX project and refined with bias correction techniques and statistical downscaling, down to a spatial resolution of 5 km. Climate Sentinel® offers high spatial and temporal granularity data useful for strengthening the resilience of productive, infrastructural, and financial systems. Recently included in the Sustainability Risk Tool Dashboard of the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), the service represents a solid reference for financial institutions and stakeholders in assessing climate risks, supporting strategic planning based on scientific evidence.
