David leads AltaML’s Venture Studio, partnering with founders and companies to validate and scale early-stage product ideas across diverse industries. Acting as a technical co-founder, AltaML Venture Studio focuses on developing and deploying AI/ML-based technologies from concept to commercial launch and growth.
David holds an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s in Neuroscience from McGill University. He has authored 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications in the field of neuroscience and brings extensive expertise in software and hardware development, particularly in the area of medical technology. Outside of work, David loves to drink coffee, chase his 2 kids around, and run marathons.
