Biography

According to Stanford's ranking, Fabrizio Pilo, Full Professor of Power Systems at the University of Cagliari, ranks in the top 2% of the most influential researchers in the world. As Vice-Rector for Technology Transfer and Innovation, he funds and promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in Sardinia. He is the vice president of NEST – the Italian Network for Energy Sustainable Transition - which creates innovation from cutting-edge energy research. He co-founded RESPECT, a firm internationally active in energy consulting.
