At Ogyre, we are at the forefront of the fight against plastic pollution—shaping the industry and driving large-scale global progress. Through our innovative fishing-for-litter model, we help companies become active players in this change, enabling them to contribute to ocean conservation and drive sustainable impact. We do so by engaging local fishermen and communities around the globe in removing plastic waste from the ocean, repurposing it into valuable resources, and fostering a circular economy.

Marine and coastal waste collection campaigns through the involvement of local communities.

Using the "Fishing For Litter" model, we enable our corporate partners to tackle plastic pollution while making a strong environmental and social impact. The waste recovered by fishermen and local communities is then reintroduced into the waste management chain, ensuring the best possible end-of-life treatment. We operate in Italy and in areas where plastic pollution is most severe, such as Brazil and Indonesia. Partner companies receive impact KPIs aligned with international standards (GRI and CSRD) and communication assets to showcase their commitment to customers and stakeholders. The waste collection target can also be defined based on the company’s plastic footprint, guiding them on a journey toward "plastic circularity."
